Area Sales Manager
About the Role
As a key leader for the assigned geography, you will drive store-level sales, lead a team across locations, and ensure operational excellence. This includes managing inventory, expenses, and team performance, while upholding quality standards and reporting effectively. You’ll also support hiring, training, and continuous improvement across all stores in your region.
Responsibilities
- 1. Lead the team of store managers , sales managers , and sales executives across various stores and be the guiding force ensure business growth
- 2. Responsible for driving sales and increase performance at a store level for the assigned geography
- 3. Being a team leader and ensuring effective management of store operations to uphold certain quality and experience standards
- 4. Plan for and maintain minimum liquidity of inventory at all stores in the assigned geography to meet demand expectations of pick and carry categories
- 5. Be the spokesperson for the assigned geography from a daily reporting point of view and drive effective communication both upstream, and downstream
- 6. Responsible for expense management to ensure store profitability levels across all stores for the assigned geography
- 7. Help in hiring, training and personality development for the new joiners in the assigned area
- 8. Conduct audits and report for gaps to ensure adherence in line with quality standard
Requirements
- 1. Proven 2+ years of experience in leading multi-unit store operations or managing retail teams and staff training.
- 2. Demonstrated ability to drive sales, manage expenses, and oversee inventory effectively.
- 3. Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of team development.
- 4. Proficiency in operational reporting and adherence to quality standards.
- 5. Microsoft Office Proficiency.
- 6. Willingness to travel across the city.
